ICAT is supporting Bolivia to enhance capacity for transparency in the energy sector, including monitoring the implementation of the energy sector NDC targets, by establishing a framework for the collection and management of data, GHG emission projections, assessing policies and measures, and developing appropriate indicators to report on progress.
Enable Bolivia to manage and monitor the implementation of the Energy sector targets of its NDC (targets under section 3.1. of Bolivia’s NDC) by establishing a framework for the collection and ongoing management of the necessary data, including those for projecting GHG emissions, assessing the impact of relevant policies and measures, and developing appropriate indicators to report on progress.
Objectives
Strengthen the transparency of selected projects and initiatives, as it relates to their impacts and outcomes, and their relevance to NDCs, SDGs and other relevant commitments and agreements, through the application of ICAT guides. Provide core recommendations to adapt if necessary the guides, according to the context of developing countries.
