ICAT is looking for a national implementing partner in Peru for a project that aims to strengthen Peru’s technical capacities to meet the requirements of the Enhanced Transparency Framework under the Paris Agreement by improving the development of the National Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory and supporting the use of the GACMO tool to develop mitigation scenarios and emission abatement curves.
The selected organization will work closely with the Ministry of Environment (MINAM), particularly the Directorate General of Climate Change and Desertification, to support data management, methodological development, institutional coordination, and capacity building for national GHG inventory processes and mitigation analysis. Eligible applicants include NGOs, academic and research institutions, civil society organizations, and other entities registered in Peru.
Proposals must be submitted through the UNOPS Grant+ platform by 18 March 2026.
