The Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT) is seeking proposals from eligible Moroccan entities to support the implementation of the most recent ICAT project in Morocco. Building on the foundational work and tools delivered through a previous project, this project focuses on operationalizing Morocco’s climate finance tracking framework, strengthening institutional governance, and initiating work on climate finance tracking and policy cost assessment in the transport sector.
Eligible applicants include national non-governmental organizations, educational and research institutions, and private enterprises registered in Morocco with at least three years of experience in climate finance or climate transparency. The selected partner will execute the project in close coordination with Morocco's Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and key sector stakeholders.
Proposals must be submitted through the UNOPS Grant+ platform by 24 November 2026 at 23:59 CET.
