Climate finance transparency is essential to advancing countries’ national climate goals and development priorities. It allows countries to determine financing needs, track finance flows, and estimate gaps. By strengthening credibility and accountability, it enhances countries’ ability to attract international and private finance for implementation.
The Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT) is organizing a webinar to share country experiences, best practices and lessons learned from developing climate finance transparency frameworks, including by applying the framework introduced in the ICAT Climate Finance Transparency Guide.
The webinar will bring together international experts and government representatives from around the world to foster a knowledge-based discussion on climate finance transparency and explore how such frameworks help advance the Paris Agreement objectives.
The webinar will take place in English and is open to all interested participants.
