The 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) was held in Belém, Brazil, from 10-21 November 2025, bringing together climate delegates, high-level representatives and civil society to advance global climate action. With the third round of submissions of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 3.0) in 2025, transparency has taken a prominent role as a driver of ambitious action under the Paris Agreement, as countries were completing the first full cycle of the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF).
During COP30, ICAT hosted and contributed to a record number of 15 events over ten days and held a total of 36 bilateral meetings with countries, donors and partners. The summary report of activities and results provides an overview of highlights from these engagements.
