From 31st March to 2nd April 2020, the French-speaking Cluster of the Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement (PATPA) organized an online seminar for the “Development of GHG emission scenarios as part of the review of NDCs in African countries”.
The three webinars, which aimed to prepare for the Cluster’s Francophone Workshop on scenarios of GHG emissions for the energy and AFOLU sectors in Tunisia, feature an exciting line-up of expert speakers and explores both the theoretical aspects and practical applications of updating nationally determined contributions (NDCs) in African countries.

The online seminar was jointly organized jointly by the German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment, the Federal Governments of Belgium and France, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Global Support Programme (GSP) of UNDP, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT).
